Superhuman is the AI productivity company formed when Grammarly (the AI writing assistant) acquired the Superhuman email app in 2025 and rebranded the combined company under the Superhuman name. Its PM interview is a long, multi-round loop (recruiter screen, hiring-manager chat, PM screen, then a virtual onsite of Product Sense, Analytical, and Execution interviews plus a standalone product-prompt Presentation panel), blending product sense, analytics, and behavioral depth.

The interview process

1. Recruiter screen. A roughly 45-minute intro call with the recruiter covering background, motivation, role fit, and a walk-through of the full interview process, stages, and timeline. Expect questions on why you are interested in the company.
2. Hiring manager chat. A 30-minute 1:1 with the hiring manager (the Superhuman Mail PM guide names Loic) to discuss your experience, the team, and what the role entails.
3. PM screen. A 45-minute screening round with a PM that previews the core interview competencies (product thinking and execution) before the full onsite loop.
4. Virtual onsite, part one (Product Sense, Analytical, Execution). Three back-to-back 45-minute interviews: a Product Sense round (critique and improve a product, identify user needs), an Analytical round (metrics, data, and tradeoffs), and an Execution round (how you ship, prioritize, and work with engineering).
5. Virtual onsite, part two: Presentation panel. A roughly 1-hour panel where you present your approach to a product prompt exercise, followed by Q&A and discussion. Candidates describe this as the key evaluation round; expectations and the prompt are explained in advance.
6. Wrap and reference checks. A final 30-minute 1:1 (the guide names Noam) to close out, followed by reference checks. The overall PM process spans multiple rounds over several months.
