Privacy Policy

This policy explains what newpmjobs.com collects, how we use it, and your choices. It covers both the free job-alert tool and the AI mock-interview studio. By using the service you agree to this policy.

• Account: your email address, used for magic-link login and job-alert emails.
• Alert tool: the companies you choose to track, the jobs you save, and your chosen alert frequency (daily, weekly, or off).
• Interview studio: your uploaded resume (we keep the extracted text only, never the original file), your spoken answers (voice audio), your on-camera video, and the transcript and scores from each practice session.

To run and score a practice session, the studio sends parts of it to these AI providers. Each is on a tier where your data is not used to train their models.

• ElevenLabs. Receives your live voice audio (recorded) to run the spoken interview. Non-training API tier.
• Anam. Receives your microphone input to drive the avatar video. We do not store webcam video.
• Google (Gemini). Receives camera frames, voice tone, and transcript text for scoring. Non-training tier; uploads auto-expire in about 48 hours.
• OpenAI. Receives your transcript text for scoring. Non-training API tier.
• Anthropic (Claude). Receives your resume text and transcript text for scoring. Non-training tier.

• PostHog: product analytics (page views, feature usage). Your email is hashed before it is sent; no raw email addresses are shared.
• Sentry: error monitoring and performance tracing. Session replays are sampled at 10% on errors only.

• To run the product: send your job alerts, and run and score your practice sessions.
• To improve the product and our coaching models, using anonymized practice scores (with anything that identifies you removed).
• We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.

Before your camera or microphone turns on, we ask for your clear, explicit consent and show you which AI services receive what. You can decline; then there is no recording and no practice session.

We use essential session cookies so you stay logged in. They carry no advertising or tracking data, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production data is limited to the people who run the service. The AI providers above are on tiers where your data is not used to train their models.

• Your account and preferences are stored as long as your account exists.
• Voice and video recordings are deleted within 90 days.
• Anonymized practice scores are kept to improve the coaching (see deletion below).
• Job listings older than 60 days are archived (not deleted) so your saved jobs are preserved.

The service is hosted in the United States. Some of the providers above may process data in other countries. Wherever it is processed, your data is handled under this policy.

The service is for adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

You can:

• Access and export your data (there is an export option in the studio).
• Correct your information.
• Delete your account (see below).
• Turn email alerts off at any time in Settings, without deleting your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you do, we permanently delete your account, your email and identifying information, your resume, your voice and video recordings, and your interview transcripts. Any practice data we keep to improve our coaching is anonymized and is not associated with you. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top, and for a material change we will give you notice in the app or by email.
