Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and NewPMJobs (newpmjobs.com, operated by Viktorious LLC). They cover both parts of the service: the free product-manager job-alert tool, and the paid AI mock-interview studio. By creating an account or buying an interview credit you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how it is handled.

• Job alerts (free):you pick companies to track and we email you when they post product-manager roles. Listings come from the companies' own career sites and can lag or contain errors; always confirm details on the company's posting.
• Interview studio (paid, beta): a practice interview with an AI interviewer, followed by a scored report and coaching feedback. The studio is an early-access beta: features may change, break, or be paused, and access is granted in small batches after you request it.
• The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features during the beta.

• Interview credits are one-time purchases (currently $1 for one session, or a discounted multi-session pack), processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Prices are beta pricing and may change; a change never affects credits you already bought.
• There is a per-person credit limit during the beta, shown on the purchase screen.
• Credits are for your own use and are not transferable or resellable.
• Credits do not expire.

If a technical failure on our side prevents a session you paid for from completing, we will re-grant the credit or refund it, your choice. Unused credits are refunded on request. A completed session is non-refundable. For any billing question or dispute, use the Help button in the app (it reaches us directly) or email privacy@newpmjobs.com, and we will sort it out quickly, usually within a few days.

• A practice session records your voice, and, if you enable the camera, your on-camera video and still images. We ask for your explicit consent before any recording starts, and at your first purchase.
• Recordings, transcripts, and camera stills are processed by the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy to run the interview and generate your scores and feedback. Each provider is on a tier where your data is not used to train their models.
• We run no face-recognition or face-geometry analysis on your camera images. Recordings and stills are deleted on a 90-day schedule; during the beta a scheduled deletion may be briefly paused while we investigate a support issue, and deleting your account removes them regardless. • You keep ownership of what you provide (your resume, your answers). You give us the limited license needed to operate the service on it, and we may keep anonymized scores (nothing that identifies you) to improve the coaching.

You agree not to:

• share your account or resell, scrape, or redistribute the service or its data;
• attempt to bypass payment, credit limits, access approval, or any security control;
• use the service to harass, to submit unlawful content, or to probe or disrupt the AI systems;
• use the service if you are under 18.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Interview scores, transcripts, and coaching are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. They are practice feedback only, not career, legal, or hiring advice, and we make no promise about interview or job outcomes. Job listings and compensation figures are informational and can be outdated.

• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent; the Privacy Policy describes exactly what is removed.
• If we close your account for a breach of these terms, remaining credits are forfeited. If we discontinue the paid service or close your account without cause, we will refund your unused credits.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects consumer rights that the law does not allow to be waived.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will change the date at the top, and for a material change we will give you notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
