Statsig PM interview guide

The interview process

1. Recruiter screen (about 30 min). Phone or video call with a Statsig recruiter. They cover your motivation, your read on Statsig's mission, and a high-level walk through your past projects and the technologies you have worked with.
2. Technical and product rounds (typically 2). 4. Final round with leadership. A set of conversations with senior leaders, reported as the heads of Engineering, Design, and Data plus the founder. These are conversational and values-driven, testing cultural fit, how you think, and whether your strengths complement the founding team rather than compete with them.
5. What they're really testing. Three signals dominate: (1) technical fluency, meaning you can speak credibly about SDKs, APIs, and experimentation and explain technical ideas simply; (2) practical product judgment shown through real work in the exercise, not memorized frameworks; (3) culture and speed fit, the scrappy 'ship it before it's done' bias and easy collaboration that an early-stage, customer-facing team needs.
