Poshmark runs a 5-stage PM loop over roughly 4 to 6 weeks: a recruiter screen, a hiring-manager deep dive, a cross-functional onsite panel (about 5 people, often with a short presentation), a writing sample, and separate conversations with senior leaders including the CEO and CMO. The interview process

1. Recruiter screen (about 30 min). A phone call on your background, motivation for Poshmark, and role fit. The recruiter checks marketplace and consumer-product experience and that your level matches the loop.
2. Hiring manager deep dive. A phone interview with the hiring manager on your PM skills and past work, going deep on decisions, tradeoffs, and metrics. Expect product-sense and execution prompts tied to Poshmark's seller and buyer experience.
3. Cross-functional onsite panel (about 5 interviewers). An onsite where you often give a short presentation and meet other PMs and cross-functional stakeholders. They test collaboration, structured thinking, and how you turn an ambiguous prompt into a crisp problem, MVP, and success metrics.
4. Writing sample / one-pager. Many candidates complete a written brief: problem, options, decision, metrics, and risks, kept to about one page. Poshmark weighs written clarity heavily, so concise, decision-first writing matters.
5. Executive conversations (CEO and CMO). Separate calls with senior leaders, including the CEO and CMO. These lean less on classic PM puzzles and more on product taste, user empathy, and whether you fit Poshmark's community-driven, social-commerce culture.
6. What they're really testing. Three signals carry the most weight: two-sided marketplace product sense (growing one side without hurting the other), metrics fluency on a marketplace (north-star, guardrails, and diagnosing when a feature lifts but GMV stays flat), and crisp communication, especially in writing and in a live presentation.
