The interview process

1. Recruiter screen (30 to 45 min). A recruiter covers your background, motivation, and culture fit. They check that you can articulate why Oura's health mission fits you and that your scope and seniority match the role.
2. Hiring manager screen (about 1 hour). A role-specific deep dive with the hiring manager into how you work, how you think, and how you prioritize. Expect situational and behavioral questions about real projects rather than a structured product case.
3. Onsite loop (about 4 hours, four 1-hour interviews). Back-to-back interviews with product, design, and product marketing partners. They probe cross-functional collaboration, user-experience judgment, stakeholder alignment, and how you turn user feedback and data into product decisions.
4. VP of Product interview (about 45 min). A final conversation on product alignment and leadership fit. It tests whether your product thinking maps to Oura's strategy and whether you can balance user health outcomes against business constraints.
5. What they're really testing. Three signals carry the most weight: cross-functional influence and stakeholder alignment, product and user-experience judgment grounded in real user outcomes (not just metrics), and genuine fit with Oura's health mission and collaborative culture.
