The interview process

1. Recruiter screen (30 min). Phone or Teams call on background, the role, comp, and logistics. Light filter on relevant PM experience and whether you can speak to NBCUniversal's media and streaming context.
2. Hiring-manager video interview (30 min, Zoom or Teams). Mostly behavioral. The manager probes how you handle stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and challenging projects, and looks for self-awareness on your weaknesses.
3. Panel interview. Often three people including the line manager plus other team members, sometimes split across separate sessions. Covers behavioral depth, how you use data and KPIs, and how you prioritize features.
4. Case study or practical assessment (senior and product roles). Some candidates get a case: analyze a product scenario, sketch a roadmap, or present a solution to a hypothetical digital-media or advertising problem. Evaluates structured thinking and how you tie work to business outcomes.
5. Senior-leadership or final round. A panel or leadership conversation on your vision for the role, alignment with NBCUniversal's goals, and longer-term aspirations. Reported as friendly and put-at-ease rather than adversarial.
6. What they're really testing. Three signals dominate: stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration (can you align design, engineering, and business), data-driven judgment (KPIs, prioritization, A/B testing to validate features), and culture and motivation fit with NBCUniversal's media and streaming mission.
