KPMG's Product Manager loop runs about 2 to 4 weeks and is a professional-services hiring process, not a tech-company product-sense gauntlet: an HR/recruiter screen, then typically two roughly hour-long interviews (one with a manager, one with a partner or senior leader), often plus a written or live case study. The one thing that defines it: it is heavily behavioral and fit-driven (candidates report roughly 50 to 75 percent behavioral questions), with technical and product depth assessed mainly through your CV and a business case rather than abstract "design an app" prompts.

The interview process

1. Application and recruiter/HR screen (20 to 30 min). Phone or video screen on your background, motivations, and basic fit for the role. KPMG checks alignment with its values and that your experience matches the Advisory product brief (requirements gathering, Agile, data/AI solutions) before advancing you.
2. Online assessment (optional, ~45 to 60 min). Some candidates complete numerical reasoning (charts, tables, short business scenarios) and a situational judgment test of scenario-based multiple choice. It measures professional judgment, not advanced math.
3. Manager interview (~60 min, behavioral). 5. Partner / senior leader interview (~60 min). More strategic conversation about your vision for the product role, your read on KPMG's market position, and long-term fit. Often where the sharper motivation questions land (why KPMG, where you see yourself in five years).
6. What they're really testing. 1) Behavioral fit and values alignment, shown through specific STAR stories of leadership, stakeholder management, and handling pressure; 2) structured problem-solving and a clear recommendation under a business case; 3) genuine, specific motivation for KPMG over the other Big Four, plus credible domain knowledge in Agile delivery, data analytics, and AI solutions.
