Garmin runs a streamlined, mostly behavioral PM loop: an HR phone screen, then a hiring-manager-plus-panel round (often a roughly 4-hour onsite with several team members, sometimes a deliverable or design exercise to present), with a typical timeline of about 3 to 5 weeks. The one thing that defines it: Garmin weighs fit with its collaborative, hardware-first culture and your ability to talk concretely about past projects far more than abstract product-sense puzzles, and questions often tie back to its GPS, fitness, and wearable products.

The interview process

1. Application and recruiter screen (about 30 min). Phone or video call with HR to review your background, walk through the role, and gauge basic fit. They confirm logistics and tell you the structure of the rest of the loop up front.

5. What they're really testing.
