Comscore PM interview guide

Comscore's PM loop runs about 3 stages over 2 to 4 weeks: a recruiter phone screen, one or two phone interviews (often with the hiring manager), then an onsite of roughly 6 back-to-back sessions with different teams. What defines it: the loop leans heavily on behavioral stories plus an analytical round, because Comscore sells media and audience measurement data and wants PMs who can reason with numbers, not just ship features.

The interview process

1. Recruiter phone screen (20 to 30 min). A recruiter walks through your background, PM experience, and why Comscore. They check basic fit and whether you understand Comscore's measurement and digital advertising products before passing you on.
2. Phone interview(s) with hiring manager (about 1 hour). One or two phone rounds, often a full hour, digging into past projects and product decisions. Candidates report a couple of technical questions mixed in alongside behavioral ones.
3. Analytical and technical round. A round that tests analytical skills and, for this data-heavy company, comfort with SQL and reasoning over data. Be ready to talk through metrics, measurement logic, and how you would use data to make a product call.

Candidates describe it as mixing up the teams you meet and assessing both technical and cultural fit.
5. What Comscore is really testing. Three signals dominate: behavioral judgment, especially how you handled decisions that went wrong and hard problem-solving; analytical and data fluency, since Comscore's products are measurement and advertising data; and product execution, meaning how you launch products, prioritize, and define success metrics.
