The interview process

1. Recruiter screen (about 30 min). A phone call on your background, why Amgen, and logistics like work authorization. Checks baseline fit, pharma or healthcare exposure, and motivation before passing you to the hiring manager.
2. Hiring manager phone interview. A deeper dive into your marketing, brand, and project-management experience and how it maps to the role. The manager probes whether you can run a brand and work across marketing, sales, medical, and external partners.

5. Executive or director wrap-up. A final conversation with higher-level leaders focused on culture fit and alignment with Amgen's patient-first mission. More values and judgment than technical depth.
6. What they're really testing. Three signals carry the most weight: cross-functional collaboration (clear STAR proof you aligned marketing, sales, medical, and partners), brand and launch judgment in a regulated pharma context (positioning, market access, the patient journey from prescription to adherence), and decision-making under incomplete data.
