The interview process

1. Recruiter phone screen (about 30 minutes). A recruiter walks through your background, the role, and BILL's culture, and checks fit and interest. They explicitly probe alignment with the company values (humble, authentic, passionate, accountable, fun), so come with stories that map to those.

5. Hiring decision and offer. The team debriefs and aims for a decision within about 15 business days of the recruiter screen; candidate-reported end-to-end time averages around three weeks. Compensation reports cluster around $150K base with total comp into the low $200Ks.
6. What they're really testing. Two things above all: do you fit the BILL values (low ego, accountable, customer-obsessed), and can you ship B2B fintech product against real constraints. The behavioral and execution questions reward concrete ownership stories (managing stakeholders through a pivot, defending a roadmap delay, iterating on thin early data, handling a hard no) far more than buzzwords.
